The award-winning rapper who is politely figured out for his unusual style Maccasio has expressed grievances saying he would never file for the VGMA anymore because the awards scheme is not accomplishing well when it comes to fairness.
This statement comes from a live interview on May 22, 2023, declaring the news to the general public.
Maccasio was nominated for the VGMA in 2019 and 2023 for The “Best Reggae/Dancehall Song Of The Year” but he has never won any of it he believes the award scheme is not fair when it comes to treating Northern-based musicians and therefore he lost interest in filling for the VGMA anymore.
“I would never file for VGMA anymore, I have turned myself to be like #R2bess.” He stated on Radio Tamale’s Bugum Beni the host Mr. Tell.
