Ataaka has been one of the biggest rappers in the region and considers Maccasio a disappointment to Northerners as he got a nomination from the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) and never won any of them severally. He had a serious rap battle with Maccasio which triggered his anger to be firing each other with tracks recently.
The hard-core million-times punchlines rapper declares in a live interview with the host Zolah Malema on Zaa Radio’s “Taxi Drive Show” earlier today on May 23, 2023, saying how he filled for the VGMA.
Having Ataaka filed for the VGMA’s Best Rapper Category but couldn’t get a nomination, he has said to be going back for the same category.
He made a statement revealing that his hip-hop song titled “Asalamu Alaikum” released in the previous years has been filed for VGMA “Best Rapper Of The Year” without a nomination. Therefore, he promises to be getting back.
