Popular radio/tv controversial presenter Halik Musah famously identified as Mr. Tell aka Adugali has cleared on air as Ghana’s songwriter musician Wiyaala after she has been asked why she was not part of just ended 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) and she said that the VGMA Is meant for only southern-based musicians therefore, she is no more filling for it.
Mr. Tell went further on the issue by asking the female artist Wiyaala to account for the projects she has been able to do under the year review Ghana and it shows that VGMA is not doing well or centered on only Southerners in the industry. Because Charter House didn’t recognize you this year, that’s why you said it. The presenter talked about this on Radio Tamale’s “Bugum Bieni” drive show on May 11, 2023.
Categorically, Adugali has stated that VGMA is the biggest credible and best awards scheme in Ghana. Hence, the afro folk/pop music singer actress model based in Funsi in the Upper East Region of Northern Ghana should tell us what she has done in Ghana under the year review. Wiyaala has expressed her opinion and I respect that but it’s untrue.
