MASLOC CEO, HAJIA ABIBATA SUPPORTS COMPLEMENTARY EDUCATION AGENCY WITH TLMs.
The Chief Executive Officer of MASLOC, Hajia Abibata Shanni Mahama Zakariah, was joined with MASLOC officials from both national, regional and Municipal to donate Teaching and Learning Materials (TLMS) to the Complementary Education Agency (CEA) in Yendi Municipal on Saturday, 27th May 2023.
The donation was in fulfilment to a request from the Yendi Municipal Director of CEA in consultation with their Regional director, seeking support from MASLOC to assist the office effectively in running their remedial classes.
Complementary Education Agency organised remedial classes for JHS, SHS, and Functional Basic Literacy dropout who are predominantly female found in dressmaking as apprentices.
The purpose of the classes is to support the beneficiaries to be able to do basic calculation and literacy to complement their skills persued. This will also provide a better future welfare and social security to these disadvantaged girls.
The Municipal Director of CEA, Alhaji Mohammed Kpemsi, praised Hajia Abibata for the gesture and said that it was the first of its kind and would inspire the Agency and the apprentice to put their best in learning.
The Management and Executives of GHAMENT MAKERS, thanked the CEO for her outstanding leadership and gave her the assurance that they will put the books into good use and keep working extremely hard to come out with flying colors.
They also prayed for Allah’s blessing and guidance on the Hajia Abibata, whom they described as having her people at heart.
