A disturbing incident occurred Monday morning at the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) headquarters in Accra, when unidentified youth, allegedly supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), launched an attack on the premises.
According to eyewitnesses, the thugs stormed the office complex and demanded that staff leave. The situation quickly escalated, with the attackers harassing employees and causing havoc.
This is not an isolated incident; there have been previous reports of similar attacks on NADMO offices, which have frequently coincided with changes in government.
The National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) is Ghana’s primary agency in charge of coordinating disaster response and management efforts. The attack on their headquarters raises concerns about the safety and security of their workers and operations.
