The activity was accomplished involving both male and female students from three Senior High Schools namely, Northern School of Business (BISSCO), Savelugu Senior High School (SAVESS), and Gushegu Senior High School (GUSSEC) by a Non-Governmental Organization Triple ‘S’ Foundation operating within the North.
During the screening, positive cases were directed to the nearest health center through health tutors from various schools for further intervention and management while negative cases equally were encouraged to continue healthy lifestyle practices on November 14, 2023.

There was a striking health education on the following cases; Malaria, Hepatitis ‘B’, Breast Cancer, Hygiene, and Sanitation as well as a rally on the applicable use and disposal of sanitary pads.
It was a three-day activity and was divided into three sessions. The Health education sensitization session, the screening session, and finally the sanitary pad distribution session.
Generally, the whole exercise was a successful one, but with a few challenges encountered which are not necessarily to be mentioned for reasons.

According to sources, this program was fully funded by the Honorable Mahamadu Salam. Below is the outcome of the screening done in all three schools.
