Alhaji Mumin Salifu, also known as Jack Sparrow in the political world, admitted to hitting Chairman Samba, the NPP’s Northern Regional Chairman.
Mr. Mumin Salifu explained what caused him to slap the Regional Chairman while speaking to a journalist on the premises.
“One of the delegates cast a ballot and showed it to Samba, the regional chairman. Alhaji Mumin told the journalist, “When I complained, the chairman slapped me, and I slapped him back.
Since Chairman Samba’s appointment as the Northern Regional Chairman was confirmed, the two gentlemen have not been on speaking terms.
In an interview, Mr. Mumin Salifu said that Chairman Samba believed he, Mr. Mumin Salifu, was accountable for insulting the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Jack Sparrow, in contrast, thinks it’s because they both back different candidates for the party’s presidential candidate.
While Chairman Samba is in the Dr. Bawumia camp, Jack Sparrow is in the Alan camp and serves as the Northern Region’s operations manager. This, in his opinion, is the root of their miscommunication.
