Mohammed Hafiz popularly recognized as Gee Face eventually speaks about why the 69 boss rapper Maccasio should not waste all his resources on the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 24th (VGMA) reggae/dancehall song of the year category. That Maccasio should vote only if he forcefully wants to be called a reggae/dancehall artist in Ghana.
Gee-Face nails this on his Facebook handle while elaborating reasons why Maccasio and the 69 fans must listen to him as a brother as well as a media personality based in the North on April 15, 2023. He believes VGMA wants to use him for money but not just interested in giving him the nomination because they knows when it comes to voting, Northerners are always love to support their blood wholeheartedly.

The last time Macassio got a Nomination at the VGMA, it was again in a Category completely strange to his Genre of Definition as an Artist, But he prove his worth By Numbers and Fans, and Canvas a system-breaking vote to win, I still believe Macassio got an Unprecedented Votes in that Category.
But what happens? He didn’t win.
Maybe they look out for a Less Dominant category where there wouldn’t be massive Cash in of votes, then they put Us there because they know we will vote our hearts out, Why didn’t the same song Qualify him for the Best Collaboration Song of the Year? (Eyes on you Ft Stone Byow) What about The Album or EP of the Year? (Glory Album)Or better still Best Rapper of the Year? (Jackson Flow) Or they Forceful want to turn our Best Rapper into a Reggae Artist?
Sure I know for a fact MACCASIO didn’t file for that Category.
